Floyd, Mitchell, Chickasaw (FMC) Early Childhood Iowa

  The purpose of the FMC Board is to facilitate efforts to enhance the quality of life of young children and their families through the spirit of community-wide collaboration. The Board will strive to encourage community efforts to increase collaboration among community members to assess the strengths of existing services and any need for additional services for families with children ages birth to 5 in the three-county area. Collaboratively, services will be planned with input from citizens, consumers, education, health, human services, the faith community, and local government. The objective of the Board is to ensure services are provided efficiently and effectively to promote safety for children, child and family well-being, academic preparation and skill development and use best practices to accomplish the vision.
