North Iowa Children's Alliance is one of 38 Early Childhood Iowa Areas across the state, serving Cerro Gordo, Hancock and Worth Counties.
There are nearly 2,000 days from birth to the first day of Kindergarten. A child's earliest experiences lay the ground work for future heath physically, mentally and emotionally. Investing in Iowa's youth, ages 0-5, helps promote future success in school, the workplace and with building healthy relationships.

The North Iowa Children’s Alliance Board is seeking applicants who want to help children age 0-5 grow, learn and prepare for Kindergarten throughout Cerro Gordo, Hancock and Worth Counties. With allocated financial resources from the State of Iowa, our 10-member board awards Early Childhood grants to ensure young children will be healthy physically, mentally, socially and spiritually.
We are looking for members who:
Board Memberships are available to individuals who reside Cerro Gordo, Hancock or Worth counties and do not directly or indirectly receive funds from our Board. Board typically meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month.
